<p>Carrinho Group announced a $1.1bn investment in silos along the corridor, including a grain terminal at Lobito. DFC signed a non-binding letter of interest for a loan supporting grain storage equipment (December 2024); the Balombo silos (20,000 t, corn/wheat) are documented in Carrinho's 2026 environmental study, and IFC reported planning a $40m financing in May 2026.</p>
